Laboratoire Léon Brillouin (LLB) is the French national center for neutron scattering. It offers a wide range of neutron instruments to the user community (French and European). Three fields of equal importance are developed: physical-chemistry, structural and phase transition studies, magnetism and superconductivity.

For NFFA–Europe, LLB proposes access to neutron instruments for neutron imaging (imaging and tomography with neutrons), neutron diffraction (with polarized neutron or not and two-axis spectrometers), time of flight neutron reflectometry and high resolution powder diffractometer for large-cell materials neutron diffraction.

All the accesses to the instrument may be completed by specific sample environments (magnetic field, very high pressure cell, measurement under stress, furnace and cryostat, etc.).
