The submission of new proposals to NFFA-Europe is now closed and the already assigned access sessions will be completed by August 2020.

RESEARCH on SARS-COV-2 and on COVID-19

NFFA-Europe extended its operation by a semester beyond its contractual end, providing its TA services until February 2021.

As mobility restrictions will likely influence the regular Transnational Access modalities a special effort is ongoing to reschedule as Remote Access as many user projects as possible, without loss of scientific quality, and to explore as much as possible new modalities of Interactive Remote Access to favour the effective participation and conduction of access research work by the users.

As an exceptional research effort is needed on SARS-CoV-2 and on COVID-19, NFFA-Europe offers the opportunity of submitting COVID-track proposals that will be assessed for feasibility and peer-evaluated one by one for Remote (Transnational) Access. COVID-track proposals may require access to all facilities for nanofabrication and nanoscale analysis on materials, nano-delivery systems of vaccins, models or any directly relevant research that may need urgent access to NFFA-Europe resources.
